The inaugural Colne event attracted over 25,000 attendees and a record number of teams so we’re looking for sponsors to help fund this terrific event in 2027 for the third time. Because of the success of the 2023 and 2024 events, we opened the team entry portal almost immediately after the events finished so we already have a number of teams in place which suggests we will easily increase the number of teams to beat the previous record. Amongst all sorts of media exposure, sponsors will enjoy a huge amount of social media coverage to provide a very healthy ROI.

As in 2023 and 2024, the course starts outside the Town Hall and whizzes down Albert Street to the finish line outside Tubbs but we’re also working on some new surprises to enhance the course to make it even more exciting than previous events. It’ll be another great day out for all the family with continual commentary and all the action visible on large format screens again.

In addition to the races, we will welcome back the Artisan Fair, the funfair and live music to make it another great, fun-packed family day out. Watch out for our celebrity guest! You’ll be able to meet our favourite champion racer, Sir Sidney Cartalot and other characters too! If you attended the 2023 and 2024 events, you’ll also know that we timed the weather to perfection, a feat that we will repeat in 2027!
